About Me
I would be honored to give great care to your pet(s) while you are away.
I am a non-smoker, full of energy to keep up with active dogs, have dependable transportation, and cover much of Hillsborough County, FL.
Thank you for your consideration in the important matter of your pets' care.
(Above: Halloween with my kitty, Angel.)
I take my duties very seriously. That is why I earned the "Dog and Cat First Aid" certification by the American Red Cross AND the "Pet First Aid" certification by the American Safety & Health Institute. I am also bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC (PSA).
Because I truly love what I do, I promise not to "skimp" on the time spent with your pets. They will receive quality time with me, to include lots of love, affection, and playtime.
I was born and raised in Florida, and have experienced the joy that comes from always having pets in my life -- to include dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, a guinea pig, hamsters, and even ducks.
I am a lover of ALL animals (including everything from lizards, to cows, to pigs, to chickens!)
As my kitty, Trouble, told you on the home page, I regularly volunteer my time doing TNR (trap-neuter-return), to help control our homeless/feral cat population. I believe TNR gets to the root of the overpopulation problem, to keep fewer cats and kittens out of the shelters, thereby reducing our area's euthanasia rate.
Furthermore, I volunteer as a "trap depo" for Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT), in support of their monthly Spay Day for feral cats.
I do not currently have a dog in my home, but that's only because several of my cats are elderly, and "run" my house. I have shared my home with many dogs in years past.
I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver the best service for you and your pets... whether they have fur, feathers, or scales!
An added benefit for you... I keep a humane trap in my vehicle (the type used to do TNR). In the unlikely event that your indoor-only cat (or small dog) gets outside while in my care, having this trap on-hand (and knowing how to set it) could make all the difference in getting him/her safely back indoors, as quickly as possible. I know of no other pet sitter who takes this FREE additional safety measure.
Sincerely,
Jojo Hulett
